From Big Jugs to Pour
We met in February to review our year and make plans for the year ahead. We don’t like to be too official so our meeting which remained “general” was of an annual nature but not an AGM!
Key themes from our get-together included upcoming opportunities to connect. We pencil in our monthly “clatteries” and explore exhibition opportunities that bring us together.
We talked a lot about…
-
From walks on Dartmoor to blind throwing… we’re always keen to extend and hare our learning.
-
Lots of discussion about rom pottery sales and demonstrations to open studios. Watch ou on the events page for all sorts.
-
Visits to studios, shared expertise and professional development.
A big feature of our discussions was the focus for the upcoming exhibition of our work at Make Southwest. We went around the houses with a theme that would enable all potters to interpret the title within the scope of their own making. We teetered on the edge of using “Big Jugs” and settled for the more sedate “Pour”. Expect some exciting work from our potters from the 6th April at MakeSouthwest in Bovey Tracey.
