Inspiration derived from Nature
Finding inspiration walking in the Devon and Cornish landscape and I have endless fascination with natural forms, light and contours.
Foraging for wild clay and minerals I add them to my work which helps to produce tactile textures. Adopting different mark making techniques to each piece gives them a totally unique finish.
I have taken part in the last 4 Devon Open Studios and regularly take part in local Pop up Shops, Farmers Markets and Craft Fairs.
I run Workshops in my Garden Studio for groups of up to 6 people and enjoy sharing my love of clay.
Landscapes, the Sea, Natural Forms, Shapes and Contours fascinate and inspire me.
I search for Wild Clays & Minerals and find ways to experiment with them creating texture and structure.
